Women's basketball senior Atonye Nyingifa was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week, and senior Thea Lemberger's go-ahead three-pointer in UCLA's comeback win over Oregon is the Play of the Week.

Nyingifa averaged 25.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games as UCLA earned weekend victories over Oregon, 88-83, and Oregon State, 66-63. Nyingifa scored a career-high 34 points against the Ducks to help the Bruins erase a 13-point deficit with 6:27 to play in the contest. She hit the eventual game-winning shot on a jumper from the right elbow with 1:12 remaining to give UCLA an 84-81 lead and then made a pair of free throws with 0:35 left to give the Bruins an 86-83 lead and ice the game. Against the Beavers on Monday, Nyingifa scored 17 points and added 11 rebounds and five steals to record her sixth consecutive and 10th overall double-double. Nyingifa leads the Bruins in scoring (18.0 ppg), rebounds (9.1 rpg) and steals (46).

Lemberger's three-pointer with 3:44 to play against Oregon gave UCLA its first lead of the half, 80-79. Her basket keyed a decisive 16-2 run that propelled UCLA to victory over the Ducks. Lemberger finished the game with a season-high-tying 25 points and a career-best six three-pointers.
