The 12-team field includes six teams from the Pac-12 Conference, plus a team from the University of Stirling in Scotland.
The Bruins are seeking their first tournament title of the season and their first at this event since 2005. Last season, Pedro Figueiredo became the first UCLA player to win the individual title.
Head Coach Derek Freeman has announced the following lineup: senior Anton Arboleda, juniors Jay Hwang and Matt Pinizotto, and sophomores Lorens Chan and Jonathan Garrick. In addition, sophomore Jake Knapp will compete as an individual.
Chan, ranked 16th by GolfStat, leads the team with a scoring average of 70.0 in 12 rounds and is 18-under par for the season. Garrick is ranked 34th, boasts a scoring average of 70.5 and is 12-under par for the year. Finally, Hwang is two-under par in 12 rounds with an average of 71.3. Pinizzotto has a scoring average of 72.5, followed by Arboleda at 73.4. Knapp’s scoring average is 73.0 in nine rounds.
The tournament will take place over three days with 18 holes played each day from Feb. 17-19. The Greg Norman Course will play to a par of 72 over 7,096 yards.
