Golfers Tied for Fourth after 36 Holes in Tulsa
By: UCLA Athletics
TULSA, OK - The second-seeded UCLA women’s golf team was in a three-way tie for fourth place after 36 holes Wednesday in the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship at the Tulsa Country Club.

The Bruins, battling gusty winds in their morning round. posted a team score of 293 (+13) and were tied with USC and Arizona at 584 (+24). Oklahoma held the second-round lead at 575 (+15), followed by Duke at 578 (+18) and Arizona State at 580 (+20).

“I think it has been a real test because of the wind," said Head Coach Carrie Forsyth. "If the wind really dies down, I think it will be a pretty scorable course. You’ll be able to score on it. With the wind and when it has been this strong and gusty, it's it's played difficult, and I think the scores reflect that. You have a lot of great teams plus 20 through two rounds, that’s quite a bit over par.”

Individually for UCLA, sophomore Louise Ridderstrom was tied for 18th place at four-over par 144 following a second straight score of 72 (+2). Senior Ani Gulugian was tied for 24th at 145 (+5) after posting a score of 74 (+4) on Wednesday. Freshman Bronte Law posted a 73 (+3) and was tied for 38th place at 147 (+7). Junior Erynne Lee carded a 74 (+4) and was tied for 58th at 150 (+10), and freshman Alison Lee was tied for 67th place at 151 (+11) after posting a 77 (+7).

Oklahoma’s Alexandra Kaui was the 36-hole leader at five-under par 135 following a round of 67 (-3) on Wednesday.
