On Aug. 10, Katy Campbell became the first Bruin swimmer to win a U.S. National Championship since 2004 when Kim Vandenberg won the 200 Butterfly.

Campbell swam a career-best 16:17.59, winning the race by more than two seconds and beating her previous personal best by nearly 30 seconds.
