The fifth-ranked UCLA women's golf team begins its quest for a fourth NCAA title Tuesday morning at the University of Georgia Golf Club in Athens.
UCLA will tee off at 7:30 a.m. (ET) from the 10th tee on a course that stretches out to 6,376 yards with a par of 72.
In October, the Bruins tied for eighth at this venue in the Liz Murphey Fall Preview. Sophomore All-American Erynne Lee was UCLA's top finisher, tying for 10th place.
Hall of Fame Head Coach Carrie Forsyth has guided the Bruins to 12 consecutive berths at the NCAA Championship, winning national titles in 2004 and 2011. In addition, the Bruins have recorded six straight Top 10 finishes and six podium results. UCLA won its first NCAA women's golf national championship in 1991 when Forsyth (then Carrie Leary) was a sophomore.
In addition to Lee, the rest of the UCLA lineup consists of seniors Tiffany Lua and Lee Lopez, junior Ani Gulugian and freshman Louise Ridderstrom. Lua, Lopez and Gulugian were members of the 2011 NCAA championship team.
