The top-ranked UCLA women’s golf team finished second at the Pac-12 Preview Tuesday and freshman Bronte Law won her first tournament at the Nanea Golf Club in Hawaii.

Tournament organizers backed up the tees, stretching the length more than 300 yards from Monday’s yardage, and scores were elevated in the final round, although par remained at 73.

The Bruins, who played 36-holes yesterday in 14-under par, recorded an even par round of 292 for a 54-hole total of 862 (-14). USC, which won its eighth consecutive tournament and fourth this Fall, won with a three-under par final round of 289 and a team total of 15-under 861. Washington, the 36-hole leader, captured third place at 869 (-7) after a nine-over par third round, and Arizona State was fourth at 874 (-2). Oregon placed fifth with a three-round team total of 881 (+5).

She won by one shot over USC’s Annie Park, who posted a two-under par round of 71 on Tuesday. Tied for eighth were UCLA’s Alison Lee, Louise Ridderstrom and Erynne Lee at 217 (-2).
