Chan and Garrick Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

LOS ANGELES, CA -- UCLA sophomores Lorens Chan and Jonathan Garrick were named to 2014 All-Pac-12 Second Team, the conference announced Monday.

Both players averaged less than 72.0 this season and each boasted a counter percentage above 90 percent.

For Chan, 19, the achievement was the first of his career. Garrick, 19, earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention Honors as a freshman and was named to the 2013 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team.

Chan finished seventh at the Pac-12 Championship over the weekend, posting a 72-hole total of 289 (+1), highlighted by a final round 68 (-4). Through the conference championship, he led the Bruins with scoring average of 71.4 and was just two-over par in 34 rounds. This season he has also recorded 13 rounds under par and nine rounds under 70.

Garrick enters the week with a scoring average of 71.5 and is eight-over par in 34 rounds. He leads the team with 14 rounds under par and 11 rounds under 70.
