LOS ANGELES - The No. 12-ranked UCLA women’s rowing team will compete against No. 8-ranked USC at the Port of Los Angeles near San Pedro, Calif., on Saturday morning.
This season’s annual crosstown dual meet will begin at approximately 8:20 a.m. with the varsity four ‘B’ race. In addition, the Bruins will race their novice eight crew (8:40 a.m.), varsity four boat (9:00 a.m.) and both varsity eight crews. The second varsity eight will race at 9:20 a.m., followed by the varsity eight at 9:40 a.m.
Driving directions: USC’s boathouse at the Port of Los Angeles (near San Pedro) is located near the end of the 110 South freeways (past the 105 and 405 freeways). Exit “C” Street and make a right at the stop sign at “Figueroa.” Make a left on “Harry Bridges.” Turn right on “Avalon.” Make a left on “Water Street.” Make a right on “Yacht St.” The boathouse is on the left past the fire station.
