The Jim Mora Celebrity Golf Classic will be held on Monday, May 19th at the renowned Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. The charity tournament benefiting children’s charities through the Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation, has sold out all golf sponsorships levels while non-golf sponsorships are still currently available to support this fun and worthy event. AM 570 Fox Sports LA’s Petros & Money will broadcast their show live during the event with additional coverage from Pac 12 Networks.
The Foundation supports a variety of local children's charities such as Special Olympics, Boys & Girls Club, Young Warriors, as well as a number of children’s hospitals. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised over 2 million dollars and has awarded grants to over 50 different children's charities and programs in local communities.
The Golf Classic kicks off on Sunday, May 18th with a VIP Appreciation Party sponsored by TVG Executive Search and hosted by The Backyard, W Los Angeles-Westwood, where sponsors and their guests mingle with sports and entertainment celebrities participating in the tournament. The next day, each golf foursome is matched with a celebrity for a day of golf, delicious food on the course, and exciting contests and tee prizes. The day wraps up as golfers and their guests move into The BackSwing Bash, which includes dinner and auction featuring a unique array of silent and live items.
