SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The UCLA football team practiced in full pads for the first time on Friday. The practice was the fifth of training camp for the Bruins in San Bernardino.
The practice was the fifth of 16 at the off campus site. All practices in San Bernardino are open to the public. The Bruins will meet again on the practice fields for their first two-a-day. The first practice will be at 8:30 a.m., while the night session will start at 7 p.m.
The Bruins' 2014 football season kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 30 at Noon ET at Virginia. UCLA's home opener will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7pm at the Rose Bowl against Memphis. The Bruins have six home games at the Rose Bowl in 2014 – Sept. 6 vs. Memphis, Oct. 4 vs. Utah, Oct. 11 vs. Oregon, Nov. 1 vs. Arizona, Nov. 22 vs. USC and Nov. 28 vs. Stanford.
