2016 NFL Draft
Halfback DeShaun Foster Answers Your Questions

Sept. 6, 2001

Alicia Jackson (Fairfield, CT): What are some of your interests outside of football? What do you like to do when you want to get away from the game?
"When I'm trying to get away from the game I mostly like watching sports. I enjoy going to my little sister's games and watch her play basketball and stuff like that. If not that, at least doing something with my little sister."

Richard Antonio (Davis, CA): You've had a lot of ups and downs in your career in terms of being injured and so forth. So far, what has been your best moment at UCLA and, now that you're a senior, has your experience at UCLA been all you had hoped for? "I really haven't had one moment that really stands out in my mind. If I had to pick something I'd say the time I scored four touchdowns against USC (in 1998). I really enjoyed that victory and really that whole year because we were in the hunt for the national championship. As for a career, I'd have to say it has been fun being here for four years."

Evan Peterson (Culver City, CA): A lot of people consider you to be one of the top backs in the Pac-10 as well as in the country. I was just wonder, how do you rate yourself? "I'm always a big fan of myself so I definitely feel that I'm one of the best backs out there. You got to have confidence in yourself and that's what I try to do. There are a lot of good backs out there so I just try to improve each week and let the rest take care of itself."

Amy Perri (Los Angeles): How far do you think the Bruins can go this year and what will be UCLA's biggest challenge in contending for a Pac-10 and national title? "Every game is going to be big for us. We can't afford to look past anybody and just stay consistent. We just need to contend, play hard and take it game by game. Thanks for the question."
