*UCLA head coach Bob Toledo's record versus the Big 12 is now 5-1, and his overall record at UCLA moves to 44-28.
*UCLA still leads the overall series against Colorado, 4-1.
*Chris Griffith's 30-yard field goal in the third quarter marked the first third-quarter points given up by Colorado this year.
*Chris Brown's 188 yards rushing on 26 attempts were the most against UCLA since Wisconsin's Ron Dayne rushed for 246 yards on 27 carries in the 1999 Rose Bowl. Brown's three touchdowns were also the most by a Bruin opponent since Dayne rushed for four touchdowns in the 1999 Rose Bowl.
*UCLA's defense, which had forced seven turnovers in the first two games of 2002, was unable to force any turnovers against the Buffaloes today.
*UCLA wide receiver Jon Dubravac threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Craig Bragg for his first career pass and first career throwing touchdown. It was the first touchdown pass thrown by a UCLA wide receiver since Freddie Mitchell connected with Brian Poli-Dixon against USC in 2000.
*Bruin punter Nate Fikse's 55-yard field goal attempt at the end of the first half was the first of his career.
