UCLA quarterback Drew Olson has earned several honors for his efforts in Saturday's 41-24 victory over Oklahoma at the Rose Bowl.
The Bruin senior was selected College Football Player of the Week by Sporting News magazine and Sporting News Radio.
In addition, he was also selected the Pacific-10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Olson, a senior from Piedmont, CA, directed UCLA's offense in the Bruins' 41-24 win against No. 18-ranked Oklahoma. Olson completed 28 of 38 passes (.737) for 314 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.He helped the Bruins outscore the Sooners 21-7 in the fourth quarter, breaking open a 20-17 contest, by throwing two of his three touchdown passes in the final 15 minutes.
