Senior defensive end Dave Ball and junior wide receiver Craig Bragg were selected winners of UCLA's Henry R. "Red" Sanders Award for Most Valuable Player at the 85th Annual UCLA Football Awards Banquet, held Tuesday evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Ball, who leads the nation with 16.5 quarterback sacks, is a first-team All-American and a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski, Rotary Lombardi and Ted Hendricks awards. Bragg, who has led the Bruins in receiving for three straight years, made 68 receptions for 994 yards and four touchdowns during the regular season.
