Quarterback Drew Olson and linebacker Spencer Havner were selected winners of UCLA's Henry R. "Red" Sanders Award for Most Valuable Player at the Annual UCLA Football Awards Banquet, held Sunday evening at the Grand Ballroom of Ackerman Union on the UCLA campus.
Olson set numerous school records, completing 242 of 378 passes for 3,198 yards, 34 touchdowns and just six interceptions, and finished eighth in the Heisman Trophy balloting. His 34 touchdowns and 242 completions set new school marks and he ranked second nationally in touchdowns and fifth in passing efficiency (161.6). He was also a finalist for the Unitas (senior quarterback) and Manning (quarterback) Awards.
Havner led the team in tackles (99) for the second straight year and finished his career third on UCLA's all-time tackle list (402). He was also a semifinalist for the Butkus and Lombardi Awards.

Jerry Long "Heart" Award: offensive guard Robert Cleary
