UCLA Post-Game Notes

  • UCLA's record falls to 6-3, 3-3 in the Pac-10. Oregon improves to 9-1, 6-1.

    Oregon Post-Game Notes

  • Oregon's win was the 500th in the program's 106-year history.
  • Oregon quarterback Joey Harrington now has led Oregon to nine fourth-quarter comebacks the last three seasons and is 10-2 in his career in games decided in the fourth quarter.
  • Oregon is now 17-3 in the month of November under coach Mike Bellotti and 29-9 in games decided by a touchdown or less since Bellotti became head coach prior to the 1995 season.
  • Senior defensive back Steve Smith had his sixth interception of the season, which is tied for eighth on the single-season list with six other players. He also has 12 career interceptions which is tied for sixth all-time at Oregon with Eric Castle (1989-92) and Steve Donnelly (1972-74).
  • Senior defensive back Rashad Bauman intercepted his first pass of the season in the second quarter. It was the 11th INT of his career, which ties him for ninth at Oregon with Kenny Wheaton (1994-96) and Les Palm (1964-66).
  • Senior running back Maurice Morris had his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season and the eighth 100-yard rushing game of his Oregon career. Only Saladin McCullough (11/1996-97), Sean Burwell (11/1990-93), Derek Loville (11/1986-89), Reuben Droughns (10/1998-99), Bobby Moore (10/1969-71) and Ricky Whittle (9/1992-95) have more career 100-yard games than Morris.
  • Oregon quarterback Joey Harrington's first-quarter rushing touchdown fourth quarter passing touchdown extended two of his own Oregon records: He has now accounted for a school record 74 touchdowns - 55 passing, 18 running and one receiving. He also extended his own Oregon career record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback to 17. His fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Josh Line gave Harrington sole possession of ninth place on the Pac-10 career touchdown passes list with 55.
  • Junior wide receiver Keenan Howry has caught at least one pass in each of his last 33 appearances since being shut out in his collegiate debut as a true freshman in 1999.
