Linebacker Spencer Havner and tailback/punt returner Maurice Drew, both of UCLA, and tailback J.J. Arrington of California have been named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Football Players of the Week.

Havner and Drew played key roles in UCLA's 21-0 shutout win against Stanford. Havner, a junior from Nevada City, Calif., had a game-high 16 tackles, 11 solo, including two tackles for loss (-5) and intercepted a pass, returning it 21 yards. The UCLA defense shut out Stanford and limited the Cardinal to 83 yards rushing and 307 yards total offense, intercepted three passes and stopped Stanford three times on fourth-down conversion attempts.

Drew, a sophomore from Antioch, Calif., returned three punts for 93 yards, including a 68-yard return for a touchdown. He had 221 all-purpose yards, including 105 rushing and 23 receiving.

Arrington, a senior from Nashville, NC, led California's offensive effort in the Golden Bears' 25-0 win against No. 20-ranked Arizona State. Arrington rushed 30 times for 188 yards (6.3-yard average) and one touchdown. It marked Arrington's seventh consecutive 100-yard rushing effort and put him over the 1,000-yard mark for the season. California rushed for a total of 234 yards against ASU.

It was the second player of the week selection for each of the three players and the second in three weeks for Arrington.
