The Bruin football team donned full pads for the first time during camp on day five in San Bernardino. On Thursday, the team will go through its first two-a-day schedule with practices starting at 8:30 a.m. and at 5:00 p.m. Please continue to check the website for practice time changes / updates.
"We had another good day and I am looking forward to double-days and seeing how we handle that," said coach Mora on Wednesday. There was no live tackling in team drills on the day as coach said the players were allowed to get used to carrying the extra weight of the pads. Coach Mora also added that he was pleased by what he was seeing from freshman wide receivers Kenny Walker, Javon Williams and Jordan Payton.
