UCLA Bruins in The National Football League - Regular-Season Finale

Seven UCLA alumni are on the rosters of teams in the NFL playoffs.

Safety Jarrad Page and wide receiver/special teams performer Matt Slater are playing for the New England Patriots, who compiled the best record (14-2) in the league.

Linebacker/special teams performer Brendon Ayanbadejo is playing with the Baltimore Ravens and running back Kahlil is on the active roster of the Chicago Bears.

Green Bay Packer linebackers Brandon Chillar and Spencer Havner are on injured reserve, as is New England Patriot safety Bret Lockett.

Here is how the UCLA Bruins in the NFL performed during the 2010 season.

Maurice Jones-Drew ranked fifth in the NFL in rushing, Marcedes Lewis ranked seventh (tied) in touchdown receptions and Alterraun Verner tied for first among NFL cornerbacks in tackles as a rookie.

Jones-Drew and Lewis were selected to the Pro Bowl.

Here is a player-by-player breakdown:

Terrence Austin, WR, Washington Redskins: Terrence appeared in five games as a rookie this season. He made three receptions for 47 yards with a long of 28 yards.

Brendon Ayanbadejo, LB, Baltimore Ravens: On the year, Brendon played 10 games and made six tackles and forced one fumble.

Dave Ball, DE, Tennessee Titans: Dave started all 11 games in which he played and he made 30 tackles, including 7.0 sacks.

Kahlil Bell, RB, Chicago Bears: Bell did not appear in a regular-season game in 2010 after playing during the exhibition season.

Korey Bosworth, DE, Detroit Lions: Bosworth was put on injured reserve prior to the season.

Kyle Bosworth, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Bosworth was put on injured reserve during pre-season.

Brandon Chillar, LB; Green Bay Packers: Chillar finished the season on injured reserve. He appeared in eight games (one start) and made 16 tackles prior to going on IR.

Kenyon Coleman, DE, Cleveland Browns: Kenyon started 14 of 16 games this season and made 68 tackles, including 2.5 sacks.

Bruce Davis, LB, Oakland Raiders: Bruce appeared in six games with the Raiders and made four tackles.

Spencer Havner, LB, Green Bay Packers. Havner finished the season on injured reserve. He appeared in six games with Detroit and Green Bay prior to going on IR and made nine tackles.

Chris Horton, S, Washington Redskins: Horton appeared in seven games this season and made nine tackles prior to going on IR.

Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Maurice started each of the first 14 games of the year (he missed the final two because of an injured knee). He was selected for the Pro Bowl and ranked fifth in the NFL with 1,324 rushing yards. His average of 94.6 yards per game was No. 2 in the league.

Chris Kluwe, P, Minnesota Vikings: On the year, Kluwe averaged 43.0 yards on 83 punts. He ranked 10th in the NFL in net punting average (38.9).

Marcedes Lewis, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars: Lewis was selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time. On the year, Lewis caught 10 touchdown passes, tied for first among tight ends and No. 7 among all players in the NFL. Overall, he made 58 receptions (No. 9 among tight ends) for 700 yards.

Bret Lockett, S, New England Patriots: Lockett was on injured reserve all season.

Jarrad Page, S, New England Patriots: Page appeared in 10 games (one start) for the Patriots. He made 12 tackles and two interceptions.

Logan Paulsen, TE, Washington Redskins: Paulsen appeared in 10 games as a rookie and made two receptions. He scored his first career touchdown against Tampa Bay in Week 14.

Brian Price, DT, Tampa Bay Bucs: Price finished the season on injured reserve. He appeared in five games, making three tackles, prior to going on IR.

Matt Slater, WR, New England Patriots: Slater appeared in 15 of 16 games this season. A special teams, standout, he made 16 tackles on kick coverage..

Alterraun Verner, CB, Tennessee Titans: A candidate for Rookie of the Year, Verner started 12 of his 16 games and made 101 tackles and three interceptions. His 101 tackles ranked tied for first in the NFL among cornerbacks and second among all NFL rookies. He made at least 10 tackles in each of his last four games.

Matt Ware, S, Arizona Cardinals: Matt appeared in 14 of 16 games for the Cardinals and made six tackles.

Matt Willis, WR, Denver Broncos: Willis concluded the season on injured reserve. He appeared in six games, making one reception for 17 yards, prior to going on IR.
