The Bruins practiced in shorts and helmets and conducted a mock game drill for most of Thursday's practice. The offense and defense worked in around special teams action -- kickoffs, punts, kickoff returns and punt returns. Following the practice, the team packed up for the return trip to Westwood.
Coach Mora began his post-practice remarks by thanking all the Cal State San Bernardino staff who helped to make this a successful camp. He singled out Cliff Dochterman, who headed up the CSUSB efforts, for his outstanding support during the stay. "It was a great experience for our football team," said coach. "A lot of real positive things came out of this for us -- a lot of learning, growing and bonding. We leave here, 13 days after we got here, a much better football team both on and off the field." Coach went on to single out offensive lineman Ben Wysocki and linebacker Ryan Hofmeister as two players who emerged during the camp.
