*With the victory, UCLA now leads the overall series, 36-18-1. Today's win marked the first time UCLA has defeated Washington State in the Rose Bowl since the Oct. 3, 1998. The Cougars had previously won three in a row at the Rose Bowl.
*UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel now owns a 6-0 record against Washington State (4-0 at Washington, 1-0 at UCLA, 1-0 at Colorado).
*UCLA's defense allowed a season-low 177 net yards. The defense allowed just 26 net yards rushing, the fewest since allowing -13 yards against Arizona on Oct. 7, 2006.
*UCLA had zero turnovers for the first time since Nov. 3, 2007 at Arizona.
*Alterraun Verner's third quarter interception was his second of the year and eighth of his career.
*Quarterback Kevin Craft threw a personal-best two touchdown passes on the day. Both went to tight end Ryan Moya, who also set a personal-best with those two touchdown receptions. Moya is the first UCLA receiver to catch two touchdown passes in a game this season.
*Wide receiver Taylor Embree recorded career-best numbers with five receptions and 63 yards.
*Kahlil Bell rushed for a career-high tying two touchdowns for the second consecutive game and fifth game overall in his career.
*Redshirt freshman quarterback Chris Forcier made his first collegiate appearance in the fourth quarter.
