The UCLA Bruins (6-5) will face off with crosstown rival USC (9-2) this Saturday at 7:00 pm in the final regular season game of the year. With a win, the Bruins will clinch the Pac-12 South title and a spot in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game. Saturday's game will be broadcast nationally on FSN with Craig Bolerjack and Joel Klatt in the booth and Petros Papadakis manning the sidelines. The Bruin IMG Radio Network and AM 570 (KLAC) (Chris Roberts, Matt Stevens and Wayne Cook) will radio broadcast the contest. The game will also be broadcast nationally on SIRIUS XM (Ch. 113).

UCLA - USC: UCLA (6-5, 5-3) travels across town to play USC (9-2, 6-2) in the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 26. The game will be televised nationally by FSN with Craig Bolerjack and Joel Klatt in the booth, while Petros Papadakis reports from the sideline. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. PT. AM 570 (KLAC) and the Bruin IMG Radio Network (Chris Roberts, Matt Stevens and Wayne Cook) will radio broadcast the contest. The game will also be broadcast nationally on SIRIUS XM (Ch. 113).

THE SERIES WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: The Bruins and Trojans will meet for the 81st time in a series which dates back to 1929. UCLA trails in the series by a 28-45-7 count and has lost the last four meetings. Since the start of the 1980s, the series edge goes to USC by a 16-14-1 margin. USC owns a 38-20-7 edge in games played in the Coliseum.

BEAT `SC BONFIRE AND RALLY: The annual Beat `SC Bonfire and Rally is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 21. The event, which will take place at Wilson Plaza (near Janss Steps), is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. VICTORY BELL: The winner of the UCLA-USC football game is awarded the Victory Bell. The 295-pound bell originally hung atop a Southern Pacific freight locomotive. It was given to the UCLA Alumni Association in 1939 and in 1941, it was taken by a group of USC students. A year later, the student body presidents of both schools signed an agreement that the winner of the football game would keep possession for the next year.

MORE SERIES NOTES: The Trojans struck first in last season's game in the Rose Bowl, but the Bruins quickly tied the score at 7-7 after one quarter. USC went up 14-7 at the half after returning a Bruin fumble for a touchdown. Allen Bradford scored twice for the Trojans to extend the margin to 28-7. In the closing seconds of the contest, Richard Brehaut threw a scoring pass to Joseph Fauria to make the final score 28-14. Johnathan Franklin ran for 109 yards, while Brehaut was 20-of-35 with 230 yards passing. Tony Dye led the Bruin defense with 13 tackles and an interception. USC recorded a 28-7 win in 2009 in the LA Coliseum and won by the same score in 2008. UCLA's last win in the series came by a score of 13-9 in the 2006 contest which was played in Pasadena.

In that 2009 game in the Coliseum, USC used two late touchdowns to secure a 28-7 decision. USC enjoyed a 14-0 lead entering the fourth quarter. A two-yard run by UCLA's Chane Moline cut the deficit in half only to see the Trojans score twice in the final 1:30 of action. Both Kevin Prince and Kevin Craft saw action at quarterback in the contest, but combined to throw three interceptions. UCLA totaled 322 yards of offense to 366 for USC.

In the 2008 game in the Rose Bowl, the Bruins got on the board first on a pass from running back Kahlil Bell to wide receiver Dominique Johnson. USC then rattled off 28 unanswered points.

In the last series win by the Bruins, in 2006 at the Rose Bowl, the defense made key plays when needed and limited USC to 55 yards on the ground in a 13-9 victory. UCLA got on the scoreboard first on a one-yard run by quarterback Patrick Cowan. A safety and a short run put the Trojans on top at the half by a 9-7 count. A pair of Justin Medlock field goals, one in the third and one in the fourth quarter (8:49 left), closed out the scoring. Bruin linebacker Eric McNeal tipped and then caught a Trojan pass attempt, giving UCLA possession with 1:10 to play in the game, helping put the home team in position to close out the win.
