Two-year varsity baseball letterwinner at Santa Margarita High School under head coach Kris Jondle...earned first-team All-Trinity League honors as a senior and was selected to play in the Trinity League All-Star Game...captured team MVP accolades as a senior...recorded a .380 batting average his senior season, collecting two home runs, three triples, nine doubles, 17 walks, 22 RBI, 33 runs and 10 stolen bases in 26 games; also posted a .528 on-base percentage and a .646 slugging percentage; led the team in hits, at-bats, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, home runs, extra base hits, walks and stolen bases...had nine multi-hit games, including two three-hit efforts at the plate...served as team captain his senior year...played in the 2007 Orange County All-Star Baseball Game for the South Team...invited to compete at the North/South Showcase at UC Riverside...named an All-League honorable mention his junior year...competed on the soccer team as a freshman.
