UCLA - Pitre is hopeful the NCAA will grant his request for a sixth season of eligibility due to his injury history ... When healthy, he has been a valuable member of the Bruin offense ... Does the things only coaches and teammates notice ... Has battled back from physical issues (missed all but five snaps of the 2007 season with a knee injury and missed the 2003 season with neck problems) ... Good blocker who excels at catching the football.

2007 - Played a total of five snaps at Oregon State, but missed every other contest due to knee problems that originally occured early in Fall camp.

2006 - Played in all 13 games, providing the big blocks to help make UCLA's run game productive ... Started all nine games in which the Bruins opened with a fullback, including each of the final six contests ... Caught a career-best 16 passes for 132 yards ... In the opener against Utah, he carried once for seven yards and made one reception ... Against Rice, he made a career-high tying four receptions for 43 yards, best on the team, including one catch-and-run for 17 yards ... At Washington, he started, blocked well and recovered a fumble ... Against Stanford, he carried once for a yard ... Made four receptions for 32 yards, with a long of 15, against Arizona ... 2005 - Pitre earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors for the second straight season despite playing with various nagging injuries ... On the year, he carried 15 times for 69 yards and one touchdown and made 10 receptions for 67 yards and two scores ... Appeared in all 12 games and started five times -- the only starts by a fullback ... In the season opener at San Diego State, he blocked well and made one reception for eight yards ... Carried twice for 11 yards, including the first rushing touchdown of his career (six yards) late in the first quarter versus Rice ... 2004 - Pitre, an honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection, was one of the pleasant surprises of 2004 ... Standout blocker ... Winner of UCLA's Jerry Long "Heart" Award ...
