Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from June 25-July 1. The Bruins lead all universities with 23 alumni in MLS.

Chad Barrett (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Chad Barrett came on as a substitute and played 16 minutes in the Galaxy's 4-3 loss to San Jose on Saturday. Barrett came on for Mike Magee in the 74th minute and did not record a statistic in his 16 minutes of play.
Galaxy record: 6-9-2, 20 points, 6th place in Western Conference

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in Real Salt Lake's 2-0 loss to the Columbus Crew on Saturday. Beltran did not record a statistic in the match, but has started every game thus far for Real Salt Lake, playing a key role in helping the squad to a second place standing in the conference.

Ianni played all 90 minutes against the Revolution as Seattle moved up to third place in the Western Conference with the draw.

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Myers started and played all 90 minutes as a defender in Sporting Kansas City's 1-0 loss to the Chicago Fire on Friday. Myers recorded one shot in the match and has started and played every single minute for Sporting Kansas City this season.
