Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from June 11-17. The Bruins lead all universities with 23 alumni in MLS.

Chad Barrett (Los Angeles; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05) - Barrett started and played 82 minutes and had one shot on goal as the LA Galaxy defeated Portland 1-0 to record its first shutout of the year.
Galaxy record: 4-8-2, 14 points, 7th place in Western Conference
This week's Galaxy schedule: June 20 - at Real Salt Lake, June 23 - vs. Vancouver
Barrett's 2012 MLS season stats: 13GP/6GS, 563 minutes, 3 assists, 11 shots, 1 SOG

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in defense as Real Salt Lake recorded a 3-0 shutout victory on the road. Beltran had one shot in the contest.
Real Salt Lake record: 13-3-2, a league-best 32 points, 1st place in Western Conference
This week's Real Salt Lake schedule: June 20 - vs. LA Galaxy, June 23 - vs. San Jose
Beltran's 2012 MLS season stats: 15GP/15GS, 1334 minutes, 2 assists, 6 shots, 2 SOG

Benny Feilhaber (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Feilhaber started and played the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Columbus. He had one shot that missed wide in the opening minute of the game and also created a 1-v-1 chance for his teammate Jose Moreno in the 15th minute.
Revolution record: 5-7-2, 17 points, 7th place in Eastern Conference

Feilhaber's 2012 MLS season stats: 11GP/9GS, 848 minutes, 1 goal, 1 assist, 21 shots, 8 SOG

Kevin Hartman (FC Dallas; Years played at UCLA: 1995-96)
Hartman made five saves in a 2-1 loss to Houston. The Dynamo scored the game-winner while Dallas was playing a man down due to a red card in the 63rd minute.
Dallas record: 3-9-4, 13 points, 9th place in Western Conference
This week's Dallas schedule: June 23 - vs. Chivas USA
Hartman's 2012 MLS season stats: 12GP/12GS, 1080 minutes, 45 saves (T-5th in MLS), 21 GA, 1.75 GAA

Chandler Hoffman (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009-11)
Hoffman entered the game as a second-half subtitute and played 16 minutes in a 1-0 loss to DC United. The appearance was his third of the season.
Union record: 2-8-2, 8 points, 9th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Union schedule: June 23 - vs. Kansas City
Hoffman's 2012 MLS season stats: 3GP/1GS, 80 minutes

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Myers started and played 90 minutes in defense as Sporting Kansas City recorded a 2-0 shutout over Toronto FC. Myers set up the first goal of the game in the 18th minute, sending a ball down the right flank to Jacob Peterson, whose cross found C.J. Sapong for the goal.
Kansas City record: 9-3-1, 28 points, 2nd place in Eastern Conference
This week's Kansas City schedule: June 20 at Seattle, June 23 at Philadelphia
Myers' 2012 MLS season stats: 13GP/13GS, 1170 minutes, 4 assists, 9 shots, 1 SOG

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Okugo started and played the full 90 minutes for Philadelphia in a 1-0 loss to DC United. Okugo recorded one shot in the game.
Union record: 2-8-2, 8 points, 9th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Union schedule: June 23 - vs. Kansas City
Okugo's 2012 MLS season stats: 5GP/2GS, 250 minutes, 2 shots

Matt Reis (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Reis posted his third shutout of the year, making three saves in a 0-0 draw with Columbus.
Revolution record: 5-7-2, 17 points, 7th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Revolution schedule: June 23 - at Toronto FC
Reis' 2012 MLS season stats: 14GP/14GS, 1260 minutes, 45 saves (T-5th in MLS), 18 GA, 1.29 GAA

Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 1997-99)
Rimando made three saves and picked up his fifth shutout of the season in a 3-0 road win over Chivas USA. Rimando's five shutouts are tied for second-most in the league.
Real Salt Lake record: 10-3-2, a league-best 32 points, 1st place in Western Conference
This week's Real Salt Lake schedule: June 20 - vs. LA Galaxy, June 23 - vs. San Jose
Rimando's 2012 MLS season stats: 13GP/13GS, 1170 minutes, 39 saves, 12 GA, 0.92 GAA

Andy Rose (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2008-11)
Rose started and played 90 minutes in midfield in Seattle's 4-1 loss to Montreal in the Impact's first game at Saputo Stadium. The Sounders had to play down a man for the final 34 minutes of the contest after Jhon Kennedy Hurtado was sent off with a red card.
Sounders record: 7-4-3, 24 points, 4th place in Western Conference
This week's Sounders schedule: June 20 - vs. Kansas City
Rose's 2012 MLS season stats: 7GP/5GS, 478 minutes, 1 assist, 7 shots, 1 SOG

Kelyn Rowe (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Rowe played 27 minutes and had a shot on goal in New England's 0-0 tie against Columbus.
Revolution record: 5-7-2, 17 points, 7th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Revolution schedule: June 23 - at Toronto FC
Rowe's 2012 MLS season stats: 11GP/8GS, 677 minutes, 2 goals, 1 assist, 19 shots, 14 SOG

Notes: All-Star candidate David Estrada from Seattle Sounders FC underwent successful surgery on June 15 to fix a broken fifth metatarsal in his left foot. He was placed on the Disabled List and is required to miss six MLS matches. He will be eligible to return on July 15 ... Estrada is one of five Bruins up for All-Star selection. Also in the running are goalkeepers Kevin Hartman, Matt Reis and Nick Rimando and midfielder Benny Feilhaber. Fans can vote for their picks at MLSSoccer.com.
