WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Freshman Annika Lenz was named Pac-12 Diver of the Month for November, as announced by the conference on Friday. Lenz won four of the nine events she was entered in during the month, including a perfect 4-for-4 in her first four collegiate events.

Lenz opened the month with 1-Meter and 3-Meter victories against UC Santa Barbara and Florida Gulf Coast, posting a 282.00 six-dive score in the 1-Meter and a 290.75 in the 3-Meter.

In her first Pac-12 dual meet against Arizona, she again won the 1-Meter and 3-Meter, recording a score of 263.03 in the 1-Meter and a 289.20 in the 3-Meter.

She also added Top Three finishes two more times during the month, including a third-place finish in the 1-Meter at Arizona State (269.55) and a third-place showing in the 3-Meter (season-best 298.60) at the Wildcat Diving Invitational.

It is the second straight year a Bruin has been named Pac-12 Diver of the Month for November after Emma Ivory-Ganja won the award in 2012. It is UCLA's 10th conference Diver of the Month accolade.

Lenz will spend next week at the USA Diving Winter National Championships in Austin, Texas. She will participate in the Platform event next Wednesday, Dec. 18 and the 3-Meter next Thursday, Dec. 19. The top 18 in each event advance to that evening's semifinals, while the top 12 move on to the finals, which will take place on Saturday, Dec. 21 (Platform) and Sunday, Dec. 22 (3-Meter).

Also competing in Austin next week is incoming freshman Ciara Monahan. On Monday, Dec. 16, she will take part in the 3-Meter at the Youth Olympic Games qualifier. Monahan then participates in the 1-Meter at the Winter Nationals on Tuesday, Dec. 17, with the top eight moving on to that evening's finals.
