The No. 3 UCLA women's tennis team (17-1; 5-0 Pac-12) hits the road for two crucial matches this week, as the Bruins will take on Pac-12 rivals No. 4 Stanford and No. 12 Cal this Friday and Saturday in the Bay Area. UCLA opens up its conference road trip at Stanford (13-0; 5-0 Pac-12) on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Bruins and Cardinal have not met this season, with Stanford opting not to compete in the ITA National Team Indoors or travel to Los Angeles for a non-conference match. Fans interested in following the match online can visit Stanford's Live Stats/Video Page. UCLA's weekend doesn't get much easier on Saturday, as the Bruins head to Berkeley for a Noon match against Cal (12-4; 5-0 Pac-12). UCLA and Cal met at the Los Angeles Tennis Center back on Feb. 21, with the Bruins winning 4-3. Cal does not provide live stats, however fans are encouraged to follow the UCLA women's tennis twitter feed @uclawtennis.

UCLA takes a nine-match winning streak into this week's matches. The Bruins have also posted shutouts in each of their last five contests. The last team to take a point from the Bruins was No. 18 Baylor, a team UCLA beat 4-1. The Bruins' lone loss of the season was a 4-3 setback against Duke at the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors in February.

From an individual standpoint, sophomore Catherine Harrison is UCLA's hottest singles player as of late, as she currently owns a 17-match winning streak, nearly doubling the next longest streak on the team (Jennifer Brady - 9). Harrison, who owns a 23-3 overall record, has not lost since falling to Florida's Sofie Oyen at the Freeman Memorial Championships in Las Vegas back in January. She is a perfect 13-0 in dual matches and is currently ranked No. 55 nationally in singles and No. 5 in doubles with partner Kyle McPhillips.

Speaking of rankings, UCLA checks in at No. 3 nationally this week, falling from No. 2 the previous week. The Bruins have three singles players ranked in the top 20 nationally, led by Robin Anderson at No. 4. She is followed by No. 11 Chanelle Van Nguyen and No. 16 Jennifer Brady. Kyle McPhillips is also ranked No. 40. Complete rankings can be found here:
