WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pac-12 announced the conference and television portion of the 2013 schedule on Monday, as the Bruins will be featured on TV 13 times during league play, with 11 matchups on the Pac-12 Networks and two on ESPNU.

Times for most of the November television matches, as well as the non-televised Pac-12 contests, are to be announced. In addition, dates and times are still subject to change. Log on to the women's volleyball schedule page on UCLABruins.com for the most up-to-date information.

The 2013 season begins for UCLA at the LMU Invitational (Aug. 30-31). UCLA will face Albany on Aug. 30 and North Texas on the morning of Aug. 31 before taking on the host team on the evening of Aug. 31. Loyola Marymount was an NCAA Tournament team a year ago.

From there, the Bruins will make their annual trip to Hawai'i, facing three teams which made the NCAA's in 2012. Following matchups on Sept. 5 against Santa Clara and Sept. 6 versus New Mexico State at the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic, UCLA will collide with host Hawai'i on Sept. 7. The Rainbow Wahine advanced to the second round of the tournament last season.

The last part of the non-conference portion of the schedule features a three-day tournament at the Denver Invitational and a local matchup down the 405. The Bruins head to the Mile High City Sept. 12-14, facing Denver, Cal State Northridge and Creighton, which advanced to the second round of the NCAA's in 2012. UCLA then travels to Long Beach State for a mid-week affair against the 49ers on Sept. 18.

For the fourth straight season, the Bruins will open up Pac-12 play on national television against their crosstown rival, facing USC on Sept. 25 at the Galen Center on ESPNU. The 12-match road trip to open the season wraps up on Sept. 27 at Colorado in a contest broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.

The first home matches in 2013 will be against the Bay Area schools. UCLA hosts Stanford on Oct. 2 and California on Oct. 4. Both contests will be aired on the Pac-12 Networks.

After a brief homestand, the Bruins are out on the road for four in a row in the middle of October. The first match will be another contest on ESPNU against 2012 National runner-up Oregon on Oct. 11. The road trip continues at Oregon State on Oct. 12, at Arizona on Oct. 18 and at Arizona State on Oct. 20. Both matches in Arizona will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.

After a road heavy schedule to start the year, the Bruins will play eight of their last 12 regular-season matches in Westwood. UCLA hosts Washington on Oct. 25 on the Pac-12 Networks and Washington State on Oct. 26. Two more TV contests on the Pac-12 Networks await the Bruins the following weekend in Northern California, as UCLA faces Stanford on Nov. 1 and California on Nov. 3.

UCLA returns home the next weekend against Oregon State on Nov. 8 and Oregon on Nov. 10, with the tilt versus the Ducks showing live on the Pac-12 Networks. From there, the Bruins embark on their final road trip of the regular season, taking on Washington on the Pac-12 Networks on Nov. 13 and Washington State on Nov. 15.

The Bruins close the regular season with a four-match homestand. UCLA entertains Arizona State on Nov. 22 and Arizona on Nov. 24. The Bruins then host USC in what has become an annual Thanksgiving week tradition, although this time the matchup will be prior to Turkey Day, as the Trojans come to visit on Nov. 27 on the Pac-12 Networks. The day after Thanksgiving on Nov. 29, the Bruins host Utah in the last match of the regular season.

The NCAA Tournament begins on December 6 at 16 campus locations and continues the following weekend at four Regional sites hosted by Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska and USC. The National Semifinals and Championship will be staged in Seattle, Wash. on Dec. 19 and 21.
