Bruins Host Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Saturday

Oct. 4, 2010

This weekend promises to be an exciting weekend of volleyball at Pauley Pavilion as the Bruins open up their Pac-10 home schedule. Friday's match against Cal will be the GolDEN Game for UCLA students and fans can receive four free tickets to the contest. Saturday's tilt with Stanford will be Breast Cancer Awareness Night, as the Bruins will wear pink jerseys for the match.

On Friday, in-game promotions for members of the Bruin Den will include Den-themed games at halftime and free Diddy Riese cookies. Fans will also have the ability to receive four free tickets to the Bruins' matchup with the Golden Bears by becoming a fan of the UCLA Athletics Facebook page at facebook.com/uclaathletics or a follower of the UCLA Athletics Twitter page at twitter.com/uclaathletics.

Saturday's match against Stanford will be Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The Bruins will wear pink jerseys and fans will have the opportunity to bid on match-worn jerseys through a silent auction. Giveaways for the match include pink UCLA t-shirts, pink ribbon temporary tattoos and raffles for a pink jersey and signed team poster. It is also High School Night, so plan to show up early for both matches. Pauley Pavilion gates open at 6 p.m.
