LOS ANGELES - Senior Dicey McGraw posted double figures in kills for the 12th straight contest with a match-best 16 and hit a career-high .556 with only one error in 27 attempts, as the 11th-ranked Bruins swept #16 Oregon on Saturday at Pauley Pavilion. Set scores were 25-23, 25-17, 25-18.

The Bruins improve to 15-5 overall and 5-4 in Pac-10 play, while the Ducks fall to 16-5 and 4-5 in league action.

Sophomore Rachael Kidder was also in double figures in kills with 10, her sixth straight match with at least 10, as she added seven digs. Junior Katie Camp posted nine kills and four blocks, hitting .533 with only one error in 15 attacks. McGraw added five blocks and freshman Kelly Reeves recorded seven kills and six digs. Junior Lainey Gera had a match-best 15 digs, while junior Lauren Van Orden registered 40 assists and six digs. The Bruins hit .330 for the match.

The Bruins led throughout most of the first set and held on to take a 1-0 lead. UCLA scored four of the first six points on two Oregon errors and kills from Kidder and sophomore Bojana Todorovic. The score was tied 11 times in the opening stanza, but the Ducks didn't take their first advantage until a 3-0 run gave them a 10-9 edge. Oregon's biggest lead of the set was a pair at 15-13, but UCLA responded with three straight on a kill and block from McGraw and a bad Oregon set to go up 16-15.

The Ducks sided out to even it at 16, but a 3-0 UCLA run on a kill by Reeves, another bad set by Oregon and a Kidder kill put the Bruins back up by three at 19-16. Up 22-20, McGraw had consecutive kills to give the Bruins a set-best lead of four and four set points. The Ducks staved off the first three UCLA set points, forcing the home team into a timeout, but McGraw registered her fourth kill of the opener to give the Bruins a 25-23 victory. Kidder and Reeves also had four kills in the first. Despite dropping the set, the Ducks out-hit the Bruins .333 to .265.

The Bruins dropped the first point of the second, but kills from Camp and Kidder gave the home team the lead, which they would not relinquish for the rest of the set. The Ducks tied it up at 2, 3, 4 and 5-all, but a 5-0 Bruin run made it 10-5. McGraw started the run with a kill, which was followed by consecutive kills from Kidder. After an Oregon attack error, a Reeves kill put UCLA's lead at five.

The Ducks cut their deficit to three at 12-9, but could get no closer, as the Bruins scored four in a row and six of the next seven to take a set-best lead of eight. Kills from Van Orden and Reeves and a pair from McGraw made it 16-9. After an Oregon sideout, Van Orden had another kill and teamed up with freshman Mariana Aquino on a block to give the Bruins an 18-10 advantage. UCLA's lead remained between six and eight for the rest of the set, with the home squad winning it on a Camp kill to post a 25-17 win. McGraw had six kills in the second, while Camp and Kidder each had four. The Bruins out-hit the Ducks .400 to .209.

The Bruins took an early 4-2 lead on two kills from Kidder, one by Aquino and an Oregon attack error, but the Ducks responded with five in a row to take a 7-4 edge. The advantage was short-lived though, as the Bruins got the next four to take the lead for good. McGraw began the run with a kill, which was followed by an Oregon attack error, a McGraw solo block and a combo roof from McGraw and Aquino. Oregon evened the score at eight and nine-all, but a 3-0 run on a kill by McGraw, a combo block from Aquino and Reeves and a Reeves kill put the Bruins up 12-9.

The Ducks got to within one but could get no closer. Leading 16-14, the Bruins scored six in a row thanks to Camp and McGraw to take a commanding 22-14 advantage. Camp had two kills and two blocks during the run, while McGraw added a kill and two roofs. The Bruins' lead remained between six and eight the rest of the way, as a McGraw kill on the Bruins' second match point gave the home team a 25-18 victory. McGraw had six kills and four blocks in the third, while Camp added three kills and three blocks. The Bruins, who had six blocks in the set, out-hit the Ducks .300 to .054.

The Bruins continue their four-match homestand next weekend against Washington on Friday at 7 p.m. and Washington State on Sunday at 1 p.m. Gametracker, free audio and free video will be available at UCLABruins.com.
