Anderson scored a career-high 23 points and added 10 rebounds and six assists to lead UCLA to an 83-60 victory over Weber State on Dec. 22. Anderson's double-double was his sixth of the season and 14th of his career. In the first half, he had 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists, including a three-pointer at the buzzer to give UCLA a 44-34 halftime advantage. Anderson is the only player in the nation to average at least 10.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 6.0 apg (14.7 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 6.7 apg).
This is Anderson's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of his career.
