Five Bruins earn MPSF All-Academic honors for the 2013 Indoor Track & Field season, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced Friday. Senior Allison Koressel, junior Natasha Kolbo, sophomores Zibby Boyer and Annie Mooney, and redshirt freshman Nicholas Scarvelis were all selected to receive the All-Academic honors.

For Koressel, this is her second selection to MPSF Indoor All-Academic Honors, her first coming as a sophomore in 2011. She has also received All-Academic honors from the Pac-12 Conference and the USTFCCCA during her collegiate career.

But for all four other Bruins, this is their first selection. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically to qualify for nomination, so this was the first year of eligibility for Boyer, Mooney and Scarvelis.

No. 12/18 UCLA Track & Field continues the 2013 outdoor season Saturday, April 6, as they host No. 10/7 LSU and TCU in the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at Drake Stadium.
