SUMMER 2013
Sataraka earned a silver medal with the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team at the ISF Junior Women's World Championship (July 1-7) in Brampton, Ontario, Canada ... was teammates with current Bruin sophomore Paige McDuffee and under the coaching tutelage of former Bruins Tairia Flowers and Lisa Dodd ... started all nine games of the tournament and hit .455 (10-for-22) with a team-best three home runs and 16 runs batted in, to go with four doubles and eight runs scored ... had a pair of three-run homers versus the Czech Republic and another against Puerto Rico ... went 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the opening game of playoff action against Australia.

2013
Sataraka was named to the All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and All-Pac-12 Freshman Teams after batting .276 with nine home runs, 29 runs batted in, 20 runs scored, seven doubles and 21 walks ... tied for first on the team with a pair of sacrifice flies, had seven multiple-hit games and nine multi-RBI contests ... went 2-for-3 with four RBI on a three-run homer and a bases-loaded walk at #12 Louisville on May 18 ... drew walks in all three games at Oregon State (May 9-11), four total, also collecting singles in the first two contests ... hit a two-run homer in the first game of a May 4 doubleheader against CSU Bakersfield, walking twice in the nightcap ... drove in a run on an RBI single on May 1 versus Loyola Marymount ... homered in back-to-back games against #4 Oregon, belting a solo shot on April 26 and a two-run jack on April 27 ... reached in all five of her plate appearances on April 19 at #22 Arizona, going 3-for-3 with a single, a two-run double, two walks and a solo homer ... belted a three-run homer and scored twice on April 20 against the Wildcats ... missed 18 straight games from March 1-30 with a right thumb injury ... posted singles in each game of the series against #8 California (April 11-13) ... singled in the second game of a doubleheader on April 6 at Utah and scored in the first contest ... hit .500 (7-for-14) at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic with a homer, four RBI, five doubles and four runs ... tied a school record with three doubles against Nevada (Feb. 24), driving in a pair on one of them and scoring twice ... doubled and scored versus #10 LSU (Feb. 24) ... went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a double against Maryland on Feb. 23, adding a single later in the day versus Oklahoma State ... batted .462 (6-for-13) at the Easton Desert Classic with six RBI and her first two collegiate homers, both hit on Feb. 17 ... went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a double against Louisiana-Monroe ... added two more hits and three RBI on a two-run shot and an RBI single versus Ohio ... had a single, walked twice and scored against San Jose State (Feb. 16) ... recorded an RBI single against #20 Hawai’i on Feb. 15 ... posted a single, a walk and a run against #17 Texas A&M on Feb. 10 ... her first collegiate hit was a third-inning, RBI single versus Wright State on Feb. 9, adding another single in her next at-bat two innings later for her first multi-hit contest.

PUNAHOU SCHOOL
Sataraka was a two-sport star at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawai'i ... played four years on the left side of the softball diamond, as well as four seasons as a guard on the basketball team ... hit .650 as a senior with eight home runs, 25 runs batted in, 10 stolen bases, 29 runs scored and seven doubles ... was named State Position Player of the Year, as well as All-State First Team and All-Interscholastic League First Team every season ... also inducted into the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor and was the recipient of the C. Dudley Pratt Award for the school's senior Female Co-Athlete of the Year ... helped the Buffanblu to a fifth-place finish in the 2012 State Tournament, as she was named to the All-Tournament Team ... coached by Bob Makahilahila ... was also All-State and All-League three times in hoops ... played travel softball with Kaikamahine under coach John Lee.
