Milos moved into a tie for the team lead in scoring with eight goals over the weekend in the Bruins’ three wins over ranked teams. UCLA improved to 14-0 on the season with an 8-7 win over No. 9 Pepperdine on Sept. 27. UCLA then posted a 17-4 win at No. 8 Loyola Marymount on the afternoon of Sept. 28 and then returned home to hand No. 11 Princeton a 15-3 defeat in the nightcap. The Bruins also improved to 9-0 on the season against ranked teams. Milos scored one goal in the win over the Waves and added three assists and two steals. He scored a career-high four goals against the Lions and added one field block. He ended the week with three goals and a steal in the win over the Tigers. He now has scored in 11-of-13 games he has played and has scored multiple goals in seven contests.
For the play of the week, Wendt gets the honors after elevating high to receive a lob pass from Chancellor Ramirez and then shooting past the goalkeeper to give UCLA a 10-3 lead against Princeton on Saturday evening.
