HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - The USA Men's Youth National Team has announced its roster for the upcoming UANA Junior Pan American Championship in Riverside, Calif. Head Coach Alex Rodriguez has selected 13 athletes from USA Water Polo clubs around the country.
Two incoming freshmen at UCLA have been named to the squad, including attacker Kent Inoue and defender Warren Snyder. Both have recent USA Water Polo experience as Inoue competed at the first FINA Youth World Championships in Perth, Australia in 2013 while Snyder recently attended the U.S. Men's Water Polo National Team training camp in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Riverside Aquatics Complex along with the Riverside Sports Commission will serve as hosts for the event. All of the action kicks off on the morning of Tuesday, July 8 with competition concluding on Tuesday, July 15. Admission to the event until the semifinal round is free of charge with tickets available for purchase on-site for the semifinal and final days of competition. See below for a complete roster.
The USA Men's Youth National Team will be joined in the competition by Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad & Tobago. If you can't make it to the pool the semifinal and final round matches will be webcast courtesy of CoachesAid.com.
