Carl Stocklin spent the 2012-13 season as an intern in UCLA's Athletic Training/Sports Medicine Department. In the summer of 2013, he was hired as a full-time athletic trainer and now begins his third season in that capacity with the UCLA men's water polo team in 2015.

He began working at UCLA in 2012 as an intern athletic trainer and spent the year with the Bruins' baseball program as well as assisting with the men's water polo team. He traveled to Omaha, Neb., in 2013 with baseball as the Bruins won their first-ever National Championship in the sport, claiming the school's 109th NCAA title. He also served as the summer camps medical service coordinator in 2012.

Stocklin received his M.S. degree in Kinesiology with an Athletic Training concentration from Michigan State in 2012. In 2010-11, he worked with the Spartans' baseball team as they won the Big Ten Championship in 2011. He spent his second year (2011-12) in East Lansing, Mich., working with MSU's wrestling team.

Before receiving his master's degree, he completed an internship at Auburn University during the 2009-10 season, working with the Tigers' baseball team that finished as the 2010 Southeastern Conference Western Division Champions.

He received a B.S. degree in Athletic Training from the University of Florida in 2009. While with the Gators, he worked primarily with the track & field and cross country teams.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Stocklin has been a certified athletic trainer since 2009 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
