Release:  01/17/2014
Senior midfielder Jenna Richmond was selected by FC Kansas City in the second round of the NWSL draft as the No. 16 overall pick.

UCLA's team co-captain, Richmond led the Bruins to their first-ever NCAA Championship in 2013 and earned first-team NSCAA All-Pacific Region and All-Pac-12 honors, as well as first-team NSCAA Scholar All-America honors. She contributed three goals and five assists on the year and was one of just two players who started in all 26 games this past season. Richmond finished her career with 91 games played, 90 starts, 12 goals and 23 assists for 47 points. Her assist and games started totals rank sixth on UCLA's career charts.

Richmond will be teammates with fellow UCLA alumna Lauren Holiday, the reigining NWSL Player of the Year. Richmond is the second Bruin senior to join a NWSL squad this year, joining Chelsea Stewart, who was allocated to the Boston Breakers.
