UCLA All-American goalkeeper Katelyn Rowland and the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team kick off the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup on Tuesday, Aug. 5 with a game against Germany in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The game will be televised live on ESPNU and WatchESPN at 4 pm PT.

Rowland, who won the Golden Glove at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in January, is looking to lead the U.S. to its second consecutive U-20 Women's World Cup title. The U.S. won in 2012, beating Germany 1-0 in the final, with help from Bruin players Sarah Killion and Sam Mewis.

All three of the USA's group games will be broadcast live on the ESPN platforms. Team USA will face Brazil on Aug. 8 at 7 pm PT on ESPNU and China PR on Aug. 12 at 1 pm PT on ESPN2. U.S. Soccer will also provide coverage on Twitter at @ussoccer_wnt.

Rowland had a record-breaking season for the NCAA champion Bruins in 2013, establishing a new school record for single-season shutouts with 15 and leading the nation in goals against average (0.27) and save percentage (.903).
