WESTWOOD, Calif. - Lisa Shattuck was hired as the assistant coach of the UCLA women's soccer team, replacing Paul Ratcliffe who left for head coaching position at Saint Mary's.

Prior to UCLA, Shattuck served as the women's soccer assistant coach at Cal Lutheran University from 1995 until 1998.

A four year letterwinner at UC Santa Barbara, Shattuck received a degree in Biological Sciences in 1995 and is currently completing her masters in Counseling and Guidance at Cal Lutheran.

Shattuck has coached the Under 10, U-11 and U-13 Camarillo Eagles Soccer Club from 1997 until now.

Also an accomplished player, she was a member of the National Amateur team in 1992 and a member of the Southern California State team for over eight years. Shattuck was a member of the West Region Team at the Olympic Festival in Denver, CO in July of 1995. She also played semi-pro soccer with the Southern California Nitemares from 1995-96.

"Lisa is going to be a great addition to our program. She brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to the team," says head coach Todd Saldaa.
