Coaches Pick UCLA to Win Pac-10 Women's Soccer Title

Walnut Creek, Calif.- In a preseason poll conducted by Pac-10 soccer coaches, the UCLA women's soccer team edged 1999 Pac-10 Champion Stanford as this year's favorite to win the conference title.

No. 14 UCLA, which opens up its 2000 season tonight in South Carolina against No. 6 Clemson, received six of a possible 10 first-place votes. Stanford received the other four.
