LOS ANGELES - UCLA senior Natasha Schulman, juniors Becca Dorst, Victoria Kent and Kelly Ronimus and sophomores Shelby Couture and Emily Donohoe have earned 2013 MPSF All-Academic honors, as announced by the conference Thursday.
For Dorst and Schulman, it was the second straight year the pair were honored by the MPSF for academic achievement.
Schulman, a senior defender from Laguna Beach, Calif., had a 3.08 GPA. She played in all 35 games as starter and only registered 32 ejections. She scored four goals and tallied seven assists, four field blocks and 12 steals on the year.
Dorst, a junior utility from Menlo Park, Calif., had a 3.24 GPA. She missed a lot of the season with an injury, but played in enough games to qualify. She scored 16 goals and had 14 steals while drawing 22 exclusions to rank third on the team.
Donohoe, a sophomore attacker from Upland, Calif., had a 3.44 GPA. She was named Second Team All-MPSF while leading UCLA in scoring with 70 goals (2.0 gpg), which ranked eighth in the MPSF. She also was second on the team in field blocks (14) and third in steals (26).
Kent, a junior attacker from Corona del Mar, Calif., had a 3.30 GPA. She recorded 12 goals, nine assists and eight steals on the year.

Student-athletes nominated for the conference's All-Academic Team must record a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore academically, have completed in over 50 percent of the team's competition during the season and have completed one full academic year at the university prior to the season.
UCLA finished the 2013 season with a 28-7 overall record and third-place finish at the NCAA Championship. The Bruins finished fourth in the MPSF with a league mark of 3-3.
