CORVALLIS, OR -- Second-ranked UCLA remained in first place entering the final round of the Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championship, hosted by Oregon State at Trysting Tree Golf Club.

On Saturday, the Bruins battled par all day and wound up posting an even par score of 288 for a 36-hole total of 573 (-3). They led second-place Arizona (574, -2) by a stroke. Stanford was third at 577 (+1), followed by defending champion USC at 578 (+2). Washington was fifth at 583 (+7).

Individually, only six players in the field are under par after two rounds, and three of them are Bruins. Junior Erynne Lee was tied for first place at four-under par 140 after posting a one-under par 71. Freshman Alison Lee was fourth at two-under 142 following her round of 72 (E) and sophomore Louise Ridderstrom was tied for fifth at 143 (-1) following a round of 74 (+2). Tied for 32nd at 150 (+6) were freshman Bronte Law and senior Ani Gulugian. Law posted an even par 72 and Gulugian carded a 73 (+1).

Hall of Fame Head Coach Carrie Forsyth said the Bruins are focusing on maintaining their consistent play heading into the final round.

“Win or lose is not really a factor for us at this moment,” she said. “The girls have worked really hard and they are really focused on themselves and just trying to do the right things that are going to help them perform at their best.”

Arizona’s Lindsey Weaver was tied with Erynne Lee for first place.
