Four Cross Country Bruins Receive Pac-12 All-Academic Honors

On Thursday, the Pac-12 Conference announced that four Bruins were named to the conference Cross Country All-Academic teams. Redshirt sophomore Jacob Wood (Aerospace engineering) was named to the First Team, and sophomore Bronte Golick (Business/Economics) was named to the Second Team. Redshirt senior Katja Goldring (Mathematics) and redshirt sophomore Kelsey Smith (Geology) also received All-Academic honorable mentions.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point-average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

The men's cross country team will fight for a national championship this Saturday, November 17, at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Golf Course located in Louisville, Kentucky. The men's race will begin at approximately 10:15 am Pacific time. A live webcast of the championships will be broadcast from 9 am to 10:30 am Pacific time, on
