Adam Shrader Named Libero of the Year

UCLA sophomore Adam Shrader was named 2002 Libero of the Year by Volleyball Magazine in the publication's August edition.

Shrader, who earned First Team All-MPSF honors in April, led the Bruins this season with 303 total digs in 32 matches. His average of 2.70 digs per game ranked first in the conference and second nationally.

Shrader also joined teammate Scott Morrow on the 2002 MPSF All-Academic Team. Morrow, a junior, posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 and Shrader compiled gpa of 3.16.

Volleyball Magazine also named senior Matt Komer a Second Team All-American. Sophomore Chris Pena earned Honorable Mention All-America honors.
