Junior Connor Driscoll fell 2&1 Thursday in the second round of match play at the 109th U.S. Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Ok. The UCLA letterman lost to Peter Uhlein of Orlando, Fla. in a morning match. Driscoll took a 1-up lead on the first hole with a par then lost it with a bogey at the second. The two players traded leads throughout the outward nine with Driscoll 1-up at the turn. Uhlein began the inward side with a pair of birdies to take a 1-up lead, which he never lost. A birdie by Uhlein at the 16th gave him a 2-up lead and a halve at the 17th gave him the match.
