UCLA sophomore punter Jeff Locke is one of seven players named to the pre-season Watch List for the Ray Guy Award, presented annually to the nation's top punter.
The seven players are all returning semifinalists from the 2009 season. A year ago, Locke was the only freshman to make the group of 10 semifinalists.
Other candidates will be added during the season and a complete listed will be announced on October 28.
Last year, Locke earned second-team All-Pac-10 honors. He averaged 43.63 yards per punt to rank second in the Pac-10 and 16th nationally and also handled the kickoff chores.
