UCLA signee Mattie Larson has been selected to the U.S. team for the 2010 World Gymnastics Championships, which will be held Oct. 17-24 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Larson will be competing in her first World Championships.
Larson signed a letter-of-intent with UCLA last November but has deferred enrollment. She placed second in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the U.S. Championships in August and won the all-around at the CoverGirl classic in July.

The 2010 World Championships are the first qualifying step for the 2012 London Olympic Games. The World Championships, which will be held in Ahoy Arena, will feature team, all-around and individual event competition.
