UCLA alum Alterraun Verner has pushed himself into the NFL Rookie of the Year race with his opportune and outstanding play.
As was the case during his four-year career at UCLA, the cornerback always seems to be around the football. After making interceptions in back-to-back games (Dallas and Jacksonville), last weekend he recovered a key fumble in the Titans' win over Philadelphia.
