At last Thursday's Sixth Annual LA Sports Awards dinner at the Beverly Hilton, Megan Langenfeld was honored as the Los Angeles Sportswoman of the Year.

UCLA softball's 2010 NCAA Championship was selected as the #8 LA sports moment of last year, while the remembrance of John Wooden's life and legacy was the #2 moment.

The LA Sports Awards are presented annually by the Los Angeles Sports Council to celebrate the greatest moments of the year in sports in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.
